Koraput March, 7: Senior politician from South Odisha and former minister Jayaram Pangi has resigned from the primary membership of the Indian National Congress today. He has sent his resignation letter to the President of the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee.
In his resignation letter, Pangi stated that he is currently unable to devote sufficient time to party activities.
It is worth noting that he has recently formed the Dandakaranya Parbatanchal Development Council and is leading the organization. Through this platform, he has been working for the protection of the basic rights and development of people in South Odisha, particularly in Koraput district.
Earlier, he served the region in several important positions such as MLA, Member of Parliament, and Minister.
Now, as he wishes to devote more time to safeguarding the interests of the Dandakaranya region, he has decided to distance himself from the Congress party.
