Bhubaneswar: Former Defence Secretary Ajay Kumar has been appointed as the Chairman of UPSC. Ajay Kumar is a retired IAS officer of the 1985 batch. He served as the Defence Secretary from 2019 to 2022. The post of UPSC Chairman had been vacant since April 29.
