Asurali, Jan, 07:: A football tournament organized under the Ma Basanti Durga Puja Committee was successfully held at Dhusuri, Oltapur, Padia, Dhamanagar Block.
The final match was played between Odisha Police Bhadrak and Dharmashala. In the first half, Dharmashala led 1-0. In the second half, Odisha Police Bhadrak scored one goal to equalize, but later Dharmashala scored another goal before the match ended, resulting in a 2-1 victory for Dharmashala.
The chief guest of the final was Higher Education Minister Suraj Suryavanshi, who presented the trophy to the champion team.
Other notable attendees included local Sarpanch Antaryami Pati, District BJP Vice President Chaturbhuj Nayak, Mandal BJP President Aniruddha Sahu, Committee Member Vidyadhar Raut, Senior Leader Ramchandra Mishra, Teacher Rabindra Behuria, Buddhadev Jena, Sushant Nayak, and Educator Sujata Mahanti.
The tournament was organized and managed by Ma Basanti Durga Puja Committee President Nirod Behera, Surendra Raut, Phanibhushan Mallik, and Satyabrata Barik.
The match operations were assisted by Jitendra Barik, Riyaz Kadri, Sushant Bishwal, and Shivprasad Behera, while Saroj Raut provided detailed match commentary.
