Food Supplies & Welfare Minister Krushna Chandra Patra Visits Nabarangpur

Nabarangpur,29th July 2025:  Honourable Minister of Food Supplies and Welfare, Shri Krushna Chandra Patra, visited Nabarangpur district, touring Umerkote and Raighar blocks. During his visit, he was given a grand welcome and felicitation events were held at two separate locations in Umerkote and Raighar.

During this visit, he was joined by Honourable Minister of Mass Education Nityananda Gond, former MP Parshuram Majhi, Raighar Block’s Additional Tribal Welfare Officer Bijay Kumar Sethy, various block-level staff, and numerous senior and junior BJP leaders, women leaders, workers, and supporters, who turned out in large numbers.

The Minister was welcomed with flower bouquets and traditional shawls, creating a festive and respectful atmosphere. A public meeting was also organized in this context.

The event began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. The Additional Tribal Welfare Officer managed the stage proceedings, introduced the guests, and helped them take their seats on the dais.

The chief guest, Shri Krushna Chandra Patra, participated in the program as the main speaker, while Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond, Nabarangpur MLA Gouri Shankar Majhi, Jharigaon MLA Narsingh Bhatra, Deputy Collector, MP Representative Preeti Singana Mahapatra, and other senior BJP workers also shared the stage.

In their addresses, the chief and guest speakers highlighted the governance model of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the achievements during the Chief Minister’s tenure, sharing detailed and relevant information with the gathered public. They also explained various people-centric schemes launched by the Modi Government in a clear and understandable manner.

At the end of the event, bonus cheques were distributed to some farmers, and ration cards were handed over to selected beneficiaries.
