Jeypore, Jan, 01: Kotia is now in the focus of the state government. Ministers from various departments of the state government are visiting Kotia, holding discussions with the local tribal residents, and distributing benefits under different schemes.
The Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Minister, Krishna Chandra Patra, visited Kotia and interacted with the local people. The minister was welcomed with traditional Koraputia Dhemsa dance. During his visit to Kotia, the minister distributed ration cards to 35 beneficiaries.
The minister stated that for villagers who are facing difficulties in collecting ration supplies, the district administration will ensure that ration materials are delivered directly to those villages.
At this program, Patangi Block Development Officer Ram Krishna Nayak and administrative officials from other departments were present.
