Papadahandi, Jan, 23:  The first PM SHRI school-level festival was celebrated at Pandikot. The programme was held under the chairmanship of In-charge Headmaster Pindu Nayak.

Dabugaon MLA Manohar Randhari attended the programme as the chief guest, while Zilla Parishad Chairman Motiram Nayak, Block Chairperson Hemalata Majhi, Block Vice-Chairperson Sushant Kumar Behera, MP’s representative Somanath Pujari, Zilla Parishad Member Dr. Lipika Majhi, Zilla Parishad Member Yashwant Nayak, representative of the School and Mass Education Minister Lingaraj Bhatra, Sarpanch Babula Bhatra, Samiti Member Umarani Biswal, and former Sarpanch Judhesthi Jani were present as guests on the dais.

MLA Manohar Randhari inaugurated the programme by cutting the ribbon. The main objectives of the PM SHRI initiative—Atmanirbhar Bharat, livelihood-oriented skill-based education, nature-based learning, a developed India through education, and achieving India’s progress at the international level by 2036—were highlighted.

This was followed by cultural performances presented by the students. During the valedictory ceremony, ABO Balak Das Randhari attended as the chief guest. Meritorious students from various fields were felicitated by the dignitaries. The programme was anchored by teacher Sudam Sethi.

At the valedictory ceremony, Semala CRC Babulal Sagar and Pradhaniguda CRCC Dharanidhar Kamarla were also present on the dais. The cultural programme conveyed messages on the holistic development of children while providing entertainment and joy to all present.

Teachers Baikuntha Raut, Sanjeev Badaguchhia, Narayan Bhatra, Pruthviraj Dora, Prakash Chandra Pradhan, Jayanti Karkora, Hrushikesh Bisoyi, Kiran Parida, Babita Jani, Kunilata Nayak, Dibakar Harijan, and Rohan Pattnaik extended their support in managing the programme.
