Nabarangpur, 3rd Oct 2025: The first meeting of the District Project Management Unit Committee was held at the Rural District Education and Training Institute in Nabarangpur district under the chairmanship of District Collector Dr. Maheshwar Swain. The committee is chaired by the Training Institute Head, Shikar Pattnaik, who first gave an introduction to the Odisha Project and presented information about the main agenda and activities of the committee.
The event was attended by teachers, trainers, and committee members. Murti Kumar P. M. B. highlighted the fundamental programs and elaborated on the core activities.
The District Collector of Nabarangpur emphasized the need for changing the mindset of teachers and educators as a prerequisite for the successful implementation of any program. He expressed confidence that with joint efforts, a successful program could be conducted and advised everyone to move forward collectively in executing the planned activities.
The committee, along with District Education Officer Chhatrapati Sahu, reviewed various programs related to the project. Committee members were briefed about the current status and progress.
Dr. Malay Kumar Tripathy stressed the importance of children’s health and sanitation issues. Among the attendees were District Information and Public Relations Officer Manoj Kumar Behera, Program Officer Kalpana Mahakud, PR Officer Bharat Chandra Sahu, Sucharu Kumar Das from Tentulikunti, representatives from Piramal Foundation Neelachandra Meher, Mansvini Panda, and the teacher trainer from Mrityunjay Institution, Sakhi Ruby Singh.
