First Aid and Climate Change Awareness Program Organized at Jharigaon Higher Secondary School

Jharigaon, 16th Sept 2025:  A First Aid and Climate Change Training and Awareness Program was organized by the Youth Red Cross at Jharigaon Higher Secondary School in Nabarangpur district.

The program was held under the chairmanship of Principal Shiv Prasad Pattnaik.

Forest Range Officer Gobinda Nayak attended as the chief guest and sensitized the students about climate change and its growing impact. He spoke about the need for awareness and proactive measures to address environmental issues.

The key highlight of the event was the presence of Ranjan Kumar Swain, a retired teacher from Indravati Cluster and First Aid Trainer, who conducted a hands-on first aid training session for the students. He explained how students can provide basic emergency care during accidents and crises in the community.

The program was actively attended by students, who received both awareness and practical training. In conclusion, the organizing team and trainers were thanked by the students and faculty for conducting such a meaningful and informative session.
