Bhubaneswar: There is good news for Odisha Fire Department! Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has made a major announcement regarding their welfare. Fire department personnel will now receive house rent assistance, and their allowances have been increased.
According to the announcement, the diet allowance for FireDipartments has been increased from ₹900 to ₹1,400. Similarly:
- Motor cycle allowance has been raised from ₹300 to ₹1,050.
- Mobility allowance has been increased from ₹150 to ₹300.
- Risk allowance has been raised from ₹400 to ₹1,000.
- This decision will benefit 6,058 firefighters across the state.
