Nabarangpur, 30th Aug 2025:Renowned senior marathon runner from Nabarangpur, Bak Chittaranjan Patra, along with his son Nikhol Patra, successfully completed the recently held Hyderabad Marathon.
In this competition, Chittaranjan Patra participated in the half marathon, while his son Nikhol Patra ran the full marathon and achieved remarkable success. Nikhol Patra credited his father’s encouragement and motivation for his accomplishment.
Sports enthusiasts said that Chittaranjan Patra’s participation in the marathon at his age serves as an inspiration for athletes of all age groups.
The success was congratulated by senior members of the Sports Association including Editor Prahallad Tripathy, Vice President M. Bala Krishna Rao, Sahasampad Kumar Pattnayak, and Cricket Editor Ashok Nayak, along with other veteran sports personalities.
