Raigarh, 5th Aug 2025: In a tragic incident on the Koraput–Raigarh National Road No. 326 near Podagada Kanyashram, a bike carrying three people was involved in a head-on collision with a truck on Saturday around 11:45 AM. According to reports:
Victims:
Kaailash Khara, a resident of Tikira in Koraput, was riding a bike along with his 4-year-old son, Anish Khara, and his nephew, Aman Rehi. They were traveling from Koraput to Kits village in the Chhanabada Panchayat of Dashmantapur Block.
The Incident:
The bike collided directly with a truck carrying Kaudiya, leading to a violent impact. The collision resulted in the bike catching fire. In the accident, the father and his young son were burned, while the nephew sustained severe injuries.
Additional Details:
The accident occurred near Podagada Kanyashram when, on their way, a truck coming from the opposite direction—carrying Bolbam devotees—was involved in the collision. This sequence of events contributed to the tragic outcome.
