Nabarangpur Nabarangpur SP Mihir Kumar Panda retired on May 31. During his long service tenure of 39 years, he served as the Superintendent of Police (SP) of Nabarangpur district for 8 months. As of now, no new officer has been appointed to the post of SP for Nabarangpur district. Until a new appointment is made, the Koraput SP is holding additional charge as Nabarangpur SP.
Following his retirement, a farewell felicitation program was organized by the district police. The event was held at the local Reserve Police Office, where Additional SP Aditya Sen presided over the ceremony. Among others, all DSPs, SDPOs, officers-in-charge of all police stations in the district, and personnel of the Reserve Police were present at the event.
