Sambalpur– A team from Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla, conducted an inspection at the Samaleswari Temple to assess the necessary arrangements for smoke extraction from the sanctum sanctorum of the temple dedicated to the presiding deity, Maa Samaleswari.
Under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Deepak Kumar Sahu, a team of experts visited the temple on Monday and inspected the sanctum and spire to examine the condition and plan for the smoke extraction system.
The team promised to provide the required technical mapping and professional recommendations to the State Archaeology Department and the Temple Trust Board.
The expert delegation had arrived at the request of the District Collector and was welcomed and assisted by the Trust Board Chairman Sanjay Babu during the inspection.
The team also held discussions regarding the issue with Ashwini Satpathy, the Superintendent of the State Archaeology Department.
