Phulbani,March, 2: At the historic Madan Mohan Mahapatra venue, Ms. Krishna Devi delivered the welcome address. On the occasion, the Trust’s national special issue Srigundicha and the book Bhanga Neelara Pakshi authored by Dr. Nrusingha Nanda Mahapatra, as well as Upanayana Samhita written by Pandit Rajanikanta Tripathi, were formally released by the guests.
In Puri, under the auspices of the Srigundicha Spiritual Trust, Odisha, a national seminar titled “Sri Krishna Consciousness and Sri Jagannath” was inaugurated. The chief guest at the opening session was former Judge of the Supreme Court of India, Ananga Kumar Patnaik.
Justice Patnaik stated that Sri Krishna consciousness embodies social justice, harmony, and a sense of national unity. He emphasized that across India, irrespective of region—north, south, east, or west—Lord Sri Krishna and literary talents are revered and honored.
The vote of thanks during the inaugural session was delivered by the Trust’s Secretary, Lakshmi Narayan. The spiritual significance of Radha-Krishna’s eternal divine form and the sacred tradition of devotion associated with Vrindavan and Barsana were highlighted.
In the afternoon session, scholars expressed that Sri Jagannath of Puri represents the supreme spiritual reality—where Jagannath symbolizes the soul (Jivatma), Balabhadra represents strength, and Subhadra symbolizes divine energy (Maya/Prakriti).
Distinguished speakers included Kailash Maharaj from Odia University; Prof. Dr. Shatrughna Panigrahi; Ambika Joshi from Maharashtra; educationist Jitendra from Jharkhand; astrologer and educationist Bijayalakshmi Das; senior Trust member Pratibha Tripathi; Dr. Sriballav; Shantilata Mohanty; Pandit Dayanidhi Tripathi; Dr. Nrusingha Nanda Mahapatra from Kandhamal; Pandit Rajanikanta Tripathi; Mrudala Mohanty; Ranganath Sethi, and others.
Special guests also included senior servitor Bhagaban Suar, GST Joint Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Subuddhi Ray, former judge Manas Mishra, and senior advocate Pushkar Mahapatra.
On this occasion, distinguished poet Dr. Nrusingha Nanda Mahapatra from Kandhamal was felicitated by the Srigundicha Spiritual Trust for his contribution to literature and spirituality.
The program concluded with active participation and cooperation from members and organizers of the Trust.
