Bhubaneswar: Eli Lilly has launched the Mounjaro injection in India to help manage type 2 diabetes and weight loss.
Diabetes Injection Introduced
Mounjaro aids in controlling appetite, reducing fat, and slowing down digestion. It is administered once a week and should not be used without a doctor’s consultation.
In India, the 5 mg Mounjaro injection costs approximately Rs4,375.
Previously, Mounjaro was launched in the UK, the USA, and several European countries.
This injection is not recommended for children under 18 years of age.
