Nabarangpur, Jan 30:The Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) at Hili has secured second place at the national level in the Ideal Youth Gram Sabha organized by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj.

In recognition of this remarkable achievement, District Collector Dr. Maheshwar Swain and the Chief Development Officer felicitated the students and the Principal. They encouraged the students to strive for greater success in the future and continue bringing laurels to the district and the state.

It may be noted that the Ideal Youth Gram Sabha was organized at the Eklavya Model Residential School in Hili. The programme was conducted under the chairpersonship of Principal Subhashini Sahu. During the event, students enacted and demonstrated the functioning and significance of a Gram Sabha through role-play and presentations.
The school will receive a cash पुरस्कार of ₹50 lakh along with a certificate of recognition for this achievement. It is learned that students, accompanied by their teachers, will travel to New Delhi to receive the award.
