Bhubaneswar: Renowned endocrinologist Dr. Sambit Dash of KIMS has been appointed as a member of the Executive Council of SAFES (South Asian Federation of Endocrine Societies).
SAFES is one of the largest and most active endocrine associations in Asia, comprising several South Asian countries including India. It works collaboratively to strengthen endocrine governance, develop regional clinical guidelines, and address the challenges of endocrine disorders in South Asia.
Dr. Dash is one of only three Indian doctors to be selected for this prestigious council and represents India on important regional and global platforms.
He currently holds key positions and has been recently honored with the “Endocrine Luminary Clinical Award” by the Governor of Odisha on the occasion of Doctor’s Day.
The Founder of KIMS, Achyuta Samanta, has extended his best wishes and congratulations to Dr. Dash for this significant recognition.
