Kalahandi:3rd Oct 2025: — It has come to light that money was stolen from the donation box at the Talaguda Adhushatri Devi Ma Dokari Budi Temple in Jayapatna Block, Kalahandi district, late last night.
Miscreants broke open the donation box and took away the money that had been collected over the past year. Upon receiving the information, the Jayapatna police reached the spot and have started the investigation.
During the annual Sharadiya Durga Puja festival, the Talaguda Ma Dokari Budi temple attracts a large number of devotees with strong faith and devotion. However, the theft of the donation box has deeply hurt the sentiments of the devotees. There is a strong demand for the police to arrest the culprits and take strict action against them.
