Nabarangpur, Dec, 09: On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Nabarangpur organized a programme at Asha Kiran (an educational and vocational training centre for children with mental disabilities) under Nabarangpur district. During the event, fruits and sweets were distributed to differently-abled students.
The programme was conducted under the direction of the Chairman of the District Legal Services Authority, Nabarangpur, and District Judge Shri Subrata Mohanty. The Chief Guest of the event was the Secretary-in-charge, Shashwati Mishra. Other distinguished guests included Dr. Sukandha Satapathy, Additional District Medical Officer, Nabarangpur; Dr. Alaka Mishra, Deputy Chief LADC; Raj Kishore Nag; and the President of Asha Kiran School, Jagannath Behera. They explained to the differently-abled children the importance of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
The day was also celebrated with dance and music performances. The entire programme was conducted by the District Legal Services Authority, Nabarangpur.
