Papadahandi, Dec, 03: On the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, and under the support of the Odisha Government’s Sports and Youth Services Department and the district administration, a district-level Unity March was held today.
The march started from the Shaheed Minar in Papadahandi and proceeded to the Khel Padia in Majhiguda, Nabarangpur, carrying the slogan “Aatmanirbhar Bharat” (Self-Reliant India). A 90-meter-long tricolor flag was carried from Papadahandi Shaheed Minar as part of this ceremonial march. Participants held tricolor flags in their hands and shouted slogans such as “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram” while moving forward.
For the convenience of the march, the district administration arranged various facilities at intervals along the route, including:

Food and drinking water
Primary medical care
Bharat Kiosk points
Cultural programs
Security arrangements
Traffic control
Sanitation and fragrance management
The event highlighted both patriotic spirit and organized coordination at the district level.
