District-Level Teachers’ Day and CM’s Education Award Ceremony Held in Nabarangpur

Nabarangpur, 9th Sept 2025: The district-level Teachers’ Day celebration and Chief Minister’s Education Award ceremony were held at Raja Chaitanya Dev Nodal Government High School in Nabarangpur.

The event was chaired by District Education Officer (DEO) Mr. Chhatrapati Sahu, with honourable Nabarangpur MLA Mr. Gauri Shankar Majhi as the chief guest and Additional District Collector Mr. Tapan Kumar Khuntia as the guest of honour.

Mr. Prakash Chandra Mahalik delivered the welcome address.

In his speech, MLA Mr. Majhi praised various initiatives undertaken by the Nabarangpur District Education Department and emphasized the role of teachers in nation-building. He also called on everyone to work together to eliminate the infamous dropout rate in the district.

The DEO Mr. Sahu provided detailed information about government education initiatives such as:

Super 100

Teaching videos in Gondi and Bhatri languages

Award Presentation Highlights:

14 secondary teachers

10 primary teachers

1 CRCC (Cluster Resource Centre Coordinator)

38 headmasters of secondary schools
were felicitated for achieving 100% results in the recent Matriculation examination.

Mr. Sudipta Das offered the vote of thanks, while Mr. Naresh Pattnaik served as the stage coordinator.

Blood Donation Camp Organized:

On this occasion, a blood donation camp was also organized, inaugurated by the honourable MLA, who encouraged the donors.

A total of 58 units of blood were collected.

Teachers from various blocks of Nabarangpur district participated in the blood donation.
