Nabarangpur, Jan 31: The district-level PM SHRI Festival was successfully concluded in Nabarangpur. The event was held under the chairmanship of District Collector Dr. Maheshwar Swain. Member of Parliament Er. Balabhadra Majhi attended as the Chief Guest and stated that the contribution of students toward building a Developed India is invaluable. He advised students to remain dedicated to the nation’s development.
He further said that it is a matter of pride that students of the district are achieving success at the national level not only in academics but also in sports. The MP assured that necessary steps will be taken in the coming days for the development of education in Nabarangpur district.
Among the distinguished guests were Nabarangpur विधायक Gaurishankar Majhi and Chief Executive Officer-cum-District Development Officer Biranchi Narayan Darwan, who encouraged students to strive toward positive thinking and innovative ideas.
District Education Officer Chhatrapati Sahu, Additional District Education Officers Prakash Chandra Mahalik, Srikant Jani, and Supriya Nayak, Dabugaon BEO Rashmita Netam, Tentulikhunti BEO Sudipta Das, Kosagumuda BEO Soumendra Bhowmick, and District Science Supervisor Chittaranjan Pattnaik were also present.
During the valedictory ceremony, students and institutions that achieved success in various fields were felicitated with awards. The PM SHRI magazine was also unveiled by the guests.
In the end, District Education Officer Mr. Sahu delivered the vote of thanks. The program was coordinated by Naresh Pattnaik, Headmaster of Bakoda School, with support from all teachers.
