Jeypore,28th Aug 2025: A district-level joint grievance hearing camp was organized in the premises of the Baipariguda Panchayat Samiti office under the chairmanship of Koraput District Collector Manoj Satyavan Mahajan. In the camp, complaints from people were collected on various issues such as roads, housing, pensions, homestead land, land disputes, health services, and drinking water.
Senior officials present included SP Rohit Verma, District Council Chief Development Officer and Executive Officer Benudhar Sabar, Jeypore Sub-Collector Sushri Akbaram Sasyareddy, BDO Shakti Mahapatra, Tahsildar Snigdha Choudhury, CDMO Bardakanta Mishra, Baipariguda Forest Officer, Baipariguda Block Chairman Prashant Gupta, among others.
At today’s camp, the District Collector personally heard 60 different complaints — 30 individual and 30 collective. Many grievances were related to drinking water supply. Block Vice-Chairperson Purnima Barik and other Panchayat Samiti members also submitted issues regarding proper implementation of development works in gram panchayats.
The District Collector directed departmental officials to resolve all grievances immediately. Various district-level officers were present, while block-level staff coordinated the camp’s management.
