District Collector Visits Jawahar Navodaya School, Tentulikhunti

Tentulikhunti, 7th Nov 2025:  The District Collector of Nabarangpur, Dr. Maheshwar Swain, visited the PM Shri Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya located in Khatiguda yesterday. At Tentulikhunti, the students welcomed the District Collector with a Guard of Honor, and the Chairperson, Pitabas Praharaj, formally received him.

During the visit, under the Chairmanship of Dr. Maheshwar Swain, a Management Committee meeting was held. The meeting included:

  • Navodaya School Principal: Dr. Pitabas Praharaj
  • District Education Officer: Chhatrapati Sahu
  • Block Education Officer: Sudipta Kumar Dash
  • School Vice Principal: P. Sitaram
  • Indravati Secondary School Principal: Binay Kumar Behera
  • Central School English Teacher: Pradeep Kumar Hota
  • District Council Representative: Debendra Jagannath Nayak
  • Engineer, Rural Water Supply Department: K. Santosh Kumar
  • Parent Committee Representatives: Dinabandhu Parida and Pruthuraj Paikaray

The discussion focused on various important issues, and the District Collector suggested positive measures for improvement. He emphasized that Navodaya Vidyalaya plays an independent and crucial role in providing quality education.

District Education Officer Chhatrapati Sahu highlighted the participation of Navodaya students in various district-level competitions. The District Collector also inspected the construction of an auditorium, including sanitation facilities for students, and promised to take positive action based on the observations.

Other attendees included English teachers Mukesh Gehut, W.P. Singh Sanjaysingh Bhora, Sushant Kumar Pal, senior officials Sujata Sahu, Santosh Kumar Mahanti, and Paresh Kumar Panda.
