District Collector Conducts Joint Grievance Hearing

Jeypore, 19th Nov 2025:— A joint grievance hearing of the District Collector was held at the meeting hall of the Kundura Block Office in Koraput district. The camp, presided over by Additional District Collector Tapan Kumar Nayak, heard a total of 61 grievances, of which 33 were group complaints and 28 were individual complaints.

Among the group grievances were demands such as the creation of a new panchayat at Jabapadar village of Kerameti Panchayat, installation of a mobile tower in Masigaon Panchayat, digging of a new tube well and repair of roads at Kandayodi-Kandhasahi of Kerameti Panchayat, provision of electricity connection at Nuaguda of Phulbhata Panchayat, starting Lakshmi bus service to Bishbhata, repairing the Phulbhata-Ghatikati road, construction of an embankment near agricultural land, resolving various issues in the Ekalavya Model School, road and drainage construction, construction of the homeopathy medical building at Baragaon, construction of a warehouse and completion of the panchayat building at Pakhanaguda Panchayat, speeding up bus service from the panchayat headquarters to the block headquarters, submission of demands by the Krushak Kalyan Mancha regarding farmers’ issues, appointment of PEOs in the block, construction of an ANM center at Jabapadaput, repair of the Hatkhudupi–RDC road, appointment of teachers at Raniguda School, and construction of additional classrooms and drains at Kadalimunda.

Individual grievances included issues related to irrigation facilities on agricultural land, issuance of land pattas, land disputes, housing, financial assistance for medical treatment, employment, compensation for crop loss, and obtaining homestead land pattas.

After hearing the grievances, the Additional District Collector of Koraput instructed the concerned departmental officials to ensure immediate resolution.

Among those present at the camp were CDM & PHO N. Shatapathy, CDO Benudhar Sabar, Jeypore Sub-Collector Akbaram Sasy Renghi, in-charge Block Chairperson Taruni Sen Bishoyi, Kundura Block Development Officer P. Manasmita, Tahasildar Binod Kumar Naik, various district-level and block-level officials, along with sarpanches and samiti members.
