Malkangiri,10th Nov 2025: The district celebrated the 150th anniversary of “Vande Mataram.” At the District Council Hall, under the chairmanship of Chief Development Officer and Executive Officer Naresh Chandra Shabar, a collective singing of the song Vande Mataram was held at 10:00 AM.
Vande Mataram is not just a song; it is a symbol of patriotism, sacrifice, and dedication to the nation. Today, people across India, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, have collectively sung this song, creating a far-reaching impact. It has a particularly strong influence on children, students, and youth. The Chief Development Officer, Mr. Shabar, expressed that in the coming days, this will successfully instill a renewed sense of nationalism among people.
The program was broadcast live at the District Council Hall, inaugurated by the Prime Minister. Similarly, at the District Police Office, under the chairmanship of Additional Police Superintendent Raj Kishore Das, all police personnel collectively sang Vande Mataram.
