Papadahandi, Dec, 05: A meeting was held at the Papadahandi Block Conference Hall in Nabarangpur district, organized by the voluntary organization Shobha. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss how to prevent child marriage in the district and how to make the district free from child marriage.

The chief guests of the meeting included: Block Vice President Sushant Shant Kumar Behera, Papadahandi Sarpanch Chandra Shekhar Majhi, GPO Akshay Pattnaik, and Supervisor Chandana Maharana. They emphasized the need for a collective effort from society to stop child marriage and shared their views on the matter.

Representatives from various villages, including Chalana, Ganda, Pujari, Dishari, and religious leaders, actively participated and expressed their opinions. The event was also attended by Shobha organization officials Amjad Khan, Uma Satnami, Divyant Bagh, Bhubaneswar Dishari, Laxmikant Harijan, Sunil Kumar Suna, Pranam Kumar Mukhi, Utkalnidhi Nayak, Sakhi Damini Nayak, and Jasmine Singh.

The meeting highlighted community collaboration and awareness as key strategies to eradicate child marriage in the district.
