Jeypore, 15th Nov 2025: A discussion meeting was held with various departmental officials regarding the implementation of AMRUT Scheme 2.0, keeping in view the increasing population. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of District Collector Manoj Satyaban Mahajan.
Organized by the Housing and Urban Development Department, the discussion saw the participation of District Council Chief Development Officer and Executive Officer Benudhar Sabdabar, Koraput Divisional Forest Officer K.V. Bhaskar Rao, Koraput Municipality Chairperson Elat Ranjan Sethi, Sunabeda Municipality Chairperson Rajendra Patra, District Planning & Monitoring Deputy Director Suryakant Behera, Koraput Municipality Executive Officer Gyanajit Tripathi, Koraput BDO Debashish Gouda, Koraput Tahsildar Syed Sabir Saha, Semiliguda Tahsildar Debabrata Karati, and other officials from various departments.
The meeting primarily focused on preparing a master plan for future requirements such as roads, drinking water supply, drainage systems, and essential public utility projects, considering the rising population.
A representative of the private company responsible for conducting the survey, Sudarshan Sahu, also participated in the discussion.
