Devotional Fervor Marks This Year’s Navaratri Celebrations

Bhubaneswar,  23rd Sept 2025:  Navaratri begins from the Pratipada Tithi (first day) of the Shukla Paksha in the month of Ashwin. This year, Sharadiya Navaratri starts from September 22 — that is, today. Mahanavami will be observed on October 1, during which the traditional Kanya Pujan (worship of young girls) will also be performed. Dussehra (Vijayadashami) will be celebrated across the country on October 2. Observing Navaratri is believed to bring happiness, prosperity, and complete fulfillment in life.
