Baipariguda, 28th Oct 2025: This year too, Kali Puja has been organized in the Katha Mill Street area of Baipariguda. According to traditional rituals, the invocation of Goddess Kali was performed along with a sacred fire ceremony (homa). The worship continued late into the night with mantra recitations, drawing a large gathering of devotees.
The late Brahmachari Bhadra had been the chief organizer of the festival in previous years, and this year his son, Sanjay Bhadra, took part in the rituals as the head priest. The puja was conducted with the cooperation of every family in the neighborhood.
Sanjay Bhadra informed that prasad (sacred offering) will be distributed on Thursday, and the immersion (visarjan) ceremony will take place .
