Nandapur, Dec, 04:  In the Nandapur block headquarters of Koraput district, Sathya Sai Baba’s centennial birth anniversary was celebrated at the premises of the Sathya Sai Baba temple. The Nandapur Bhajan Mandali began the day early in the morning with devotional activities.

A procession of Nagara Sankirtan (traditional devotional singing and chanting) took place. Fruits were distributed to patients at the community health center. Video coverage was provided by Durga Prasad Dora. Elderly people were given warm clothing as part of Narayana Seva (service to humanity). Food arrangements (Annaprasad) were made for a large number of devotees.

Vedic recitations were conducted, 100 lamps were lit, bhajans and Sankirtan were performed, and Mangala Arati was conducted. The celebration included cutting the cake to commemorate Sathya Sai Baba’s centenary. The event was organized and managed by Satyanarayan, T. Ganesh Choudhury, Srinu Babu, and Basu.

Similarly, in Jayapura, Sathya Sai Baba’s 100th birth anniversary was celebrated. The celebration included a Nagar Sankirtan starting from the Sathya Sai Baba temple in Jayapura Mill Sahi. Devotional services and a procession through the city were carried out. In the temple, Sathya Narayan Puja was performed, followed by the distribution of Prasad.

In the evening, 101 lamps were lit, and a bhajan program was organized. Additionally, independent bhajans, birthday songs, and a swing festival (Jhula Utsav) were conducted as part of the celebration.
