Devotees Celebrate Hanuman Temple Installation at Dhamanahandi with Grand Festival

Dhamanahandi, A grand installation festival for the Jai Veer Hanuman Temple was held at Dhamanahandi, located in the Kotpad block. The event took place over three days, filled with grandeur and religious fervor. The festival began with a morning procession of Kalash Yatra and continued with all the traditional rituals and pujas, culminating in the establishment of the temple.

The installation ceremony included inviting prominent figures such as Sukumar Raja of Chhattisgarh, Jai Deva of Jaypur, and their respective queens for participation. The members of the worship committee and villagers worked diligently for several days to ensure the success of this event.

Local MLA Rupu Bhatara, MP Representative Rameshwar Jena, former MLA Padmini Diyan, former MLA Chandrasekhar Majhi, and BJP representatives, along with other local workers and devotees from Kotpad and surrounding areas, attended the ceremony. They gathered to pay respects to Lord Veer Hanuman, and the proceedings included the offering of flower garlands and lighting incense before the deity’s idol.

Special efforts were made to light up the venue, with Rupu Bhatara providing street lighting to illuminate the area in the evening. On the final day, the event continued with a warm welcome for the royal figures and performances of devotional hymns and kirtans, creating a spiritually charged atmosphere. Over the three days, more than 10,000 devotees were served with prasad and annaprasad (food offerings).

This grand celebration brought together the community in a beautiful devotional environment, highlighting the commitment of the villagers and their local leaders in bringing this holy place to life.
