Kotpad — With folded hands and hearts filled with reverence, devotees gathered in large numbers at the sacred Sai Baba Temple in Kotpad on Thursday to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima. The atmosphere was steeped in devotion, gratitude, and spiritual fervor as families came together to honor their Gurus and seek blessings for guidance and inner peace.
Organized by the Shiridi Sai Baba Temple, Kotpad, the celebration began early in the morning with an Abhishekam and Sai Pooja, invoking the divine presence of Sai Baba. The serene rituals were followed by a spiritual discourse, emphasizing the significance of the Guru in one’s life and the eternal wisdom imparted through the Guru-shishya tradition.
“The role of a Guru is not just to teach, but to illuminate the path of life. On this sacred day, we express our deepest gratitude to all the spiritual masters who guide us toward truth and peace,” said one of the temple organizers during the discourse.
Following the prayer sessions, Prasad was distributed to all attendees, symbolizing blessings and unity within the community. The temple premises echoed with chants and hymns, creating an uplifting and peaceful ambiance.
