Nabarangpur: On the occasion of Guru Purnima, special rituals including abhishek, puja, and homa were performed at the Shirdi Sai Temple in Papadahandi, Nabarangpur district.
The entire event was organized by the temple trustee Bibhuti Prasad Panda. The celebrations began early in the morning at 6:30 AM with Kakad Aarti (early morning prayer) to Sai Baba. At 10:00 AM, abhishek (holy bath), puja, and homa were conducted.
The rituals were performed with devotion by Shankarlal Agrawal and his wife, who participated as chief worshippers (karbhav). After the midday aarti, arrangements were made for prasadam distribution, and hundreds of devotees partook in the meal.
In the evening, aarti was held at 6:30 PM, followed by Shej Aarti (final night prayer) at 8:30 PM.
Several members of the temple trust, including Dharmapal Sharma, Sadashiv Praharaj, Bimal Jain, Balaram Sahu, Debaraj Nayak, Jhadeshwar Jani, Sanjeev Agrawal, Satish Pal, Pradeep Panigrahi, and Shubham Pattnaik, actively contributed to the successful organization of the event.
