Bhubaneswar:17th Sept 2025: Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida has revealed key information regarding the beneficiaries who were excluded from the “Subhadra Yojana” — the flagship cash assistance scheme recently launched by the Odisha government.
As per data from the Health Department, beneficiaries have been excluded on several grounds:
- 15,984 beneficiaries were removed from the list as they were found to be deceased.
- 1,805 individuals, who are still alive, will be re-included in the list.
- 36,702 beneficiaries were excluded for having purchased vehicles.
- 21,035 beneficiaries were left out for being income tax payers.
- Over 1,33,691 people were excluded for having registered as paddy sellers or registered farmers.
Parida added that once all verification and data collection is completed, the final list will be discussed with the Chief Minister for necessary action.
