Balasore: Preparations for Deputy Chief Minister Prabhati Parida’s visit to Balasore tomorrow have been finalized. In the afternoon, she will attend an intellectual conference at the local Gandhi Smruti Bhavan, as informed by Balasore MP Pratap Chandra Sarangi. The conference will include detailed discussions on various qualitative aspects of the Union and State Governments’ public welfare budget. Topics of discussion will cover benefits for all sections of society, education, healthcare, infrastructure, citizen security, women’s empowerment, child development, rural prosperity, fisheries and animal husbandry, cooperatives, urbanization, tourism, inclusive development, social security, development of Scheduled Castes, Tribes, and backward communities, skill development and vocational education, food security, sports, and Odia identity.
More than 500 intellectuals are expected to participate in the event, according to MP Sarangi. The conference will begin at 4 PM, with elected representatives from the district and distinguished individuals from various sectors joining. MP Sarangi has urged everyone to participate in large numbers and make the event a success.
