Polasara, Dec, 03: To ensure the overall physical and mental development of students along with academics, Deepak Memorial Public School, located in Dasharath Nagar, Polasara, organized its Annual Sports Competition on Monday at the Khola Padia ground in Belgaon.
Under the supervision of the school’s Chairperson Pratibha Rath, the two-day sports festival was celebrated with enthusiastic participation from all students.
Events and Participation
To foster better bonding and teamwork, students of Deepak Memorial Public School took part in a variety of sports events such as:
100-meter race
Basketball
Spoon race
Long jump
Relay race
Musical chair,
and several other competitions.
All students actively participated in each event, making the sports festival lively and successful.

NAC Chairperson Sangeeta Behera emphasized that along with physical fitness, cultivating curiosity for learning is essential for every student. She urged students to work hard for a bright future.
She added that in today’s digital age, it is important to develop reading habits and also ensure participation in sports to shape a well-rounded future for children.
School Chairperson Pratibha Rath stated that Deepak Memorial Public School is committed to nurturing students’ academic interests as well as their sporting talents for their overall development.
