Kotpad:Jan, 06: The rich traditions and culture of the Odia community are slowly fading under the influence of modernity, and the younger generation risks forgetting their heritage. To revive these traditions and attract youth, the Pushpuni Meet festival has begun in Kotpad.
On the first day of the festival, Kotpad Congress MLA candidate Anam Dian was the chief guest, along with Pushpuni Meet Chairperson Ganesh Panda, former MLA Chandra Sekhar Majhi, Akil Sangh President Mani Prasad Pattnaik, and N.A.C. Chairman M. Shankar Rao. Several respected members of the Kotpad region were also present.
This is the second year of the Pushpuni Meet festival. Over 100 local artists
Participated, showcasing their art in a procession. The artists also toured Kotpad town and ended the event by displaying their artwork at the Pushpuni Meet Mandap in Kotpad Baddadand.
The festival not only celebrates local art and culture but also gives young people an opportunity to connect with and appreciate their heritage.
