Bhubaneswar, 25th Oct 2025: A cyclone is likely to form over the Bay of Bengal on the morning of the 27th. Heavy rainfall is expected across the state from the 27th to the 29th. Heavy rain is likely over coastal and southern Odisha. Districts expected to receive heavy rainfall include Kendrapara, Cuttack, Puri, Khordha, Jagatsinghpur, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput, and Malkangiri. ← On the 28th and 29th, very heavy rain accompanied by strong winds and storms is expected. ← Wind speed may reach 60 to 70 km per hour. Fishermen are advised not to venture into the sea from the 26th to the 29th. Changes in weather conditions are expected on the 30th.
