Jeypore: Dec,22: On the occasion of Parab 2025, a cross-country run was successfully organized in Koraput through the joint initiative of the Border Security Force (BSF) and the district administration. The event was held at the Police Ground, Koraput, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of youths from within the district as well as from outside districts.
The event was graced by Koraput District Collector Manoj Satyawan Mahajan, Superintendent of Police Rohit Verma, and BSF DIG Ban Khan Singh as chief guests. Around 900 young men and women took part in the race.
The 5-kilometre cross-country run was well organized, with all necessary arrangements made by the BSF. A major attraction of the event was the cash prizes awarded to the winners. The first prize carried a cash award of Rs 10,000, the second prize Rs 8,000, and the third prize Rs 5,000, along with medals and certificates.
In the men’s category, Dalmany Chirgun from Balangir secured the first position, Rabi Muduli from Koraput won the second position, and Siddharth Gautam Jena from Koraput achieved the third position.
