Papadahandi,: As per the directive of the Mass Education Department, Babulaal Sagar, the Cluster Resource Centre Coordinator (CRCC) of the Semala Cluster under Papadahandi block, visited various schools and participated in the parents-teachers meeting held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, with the aim of promoting effective communication and collaboration.
He attended meetings at several schools including Government Primary School Dumuripadar, Bhaira Pujari Guda, Paika Katara, and Usigan Upper Primary School, in the presence of headmasters and parents. The meeting, modeled after the structure of a Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM), was also attended by school management committee members, with eight members present.
In a unique initiative, the cook of Bhaira Pujari Guda Primary School prepared nutritious laddus using ghee, which received appreciation from the CRCC, who also encouraged such nutritious food preparation in other schools. Babulaal Sagar also visited Barbhalapara and shared his thoughts on parental involvement in children’s education through initiatives like “Mo Pua Ra Patha Padha” (Teach My Child).
The CRCC highlighted the importance of these meetings in providing direction and awareness. His school visits and awareness campaigns received praise from teachers, parents, and intellectuals in the community.
During the meeting, he gave a motivational speech and suggested forming WhatsApp groups to improve communication and academic progress. He also emphasized child safety from abuse, discussed the “Samapti Suchaka Aakalan-2” (end-term assessment), academic calendar, PM Poshan (Mid-day meal), textbook distribution, and encouraged parental involvement in improving children’s education.
He concluded the session with gratitude and appreciation for everyone’s participation. Each school had invested Rs. 750 for posters, tiffins, and print papers for conducting the meeting. Headmasters and parents from different schools actively participated. Notably, in the Paika Katara meeting, a mother attended the PTM along with her three-month-old baby, showing great commitment.
