Nabarangpur, 1st Nov 2025: On the occasion of Corruption Prevention Awareness Week 2025, various programs are being organized by the district administration and the Anti-Corruption Department. In Koshagumuda block, during a joint public grievance hearing, the District Collector Dr. Maheshwar Swain administered the integrity oath to officers and employees across all blocks, tehsils, district offices, municipalities, and sub-divisional offices.
At Ashok Mehta Conference Hall, additional district collector Rajaswa Vishwajit Barman and Tapan Kumar Khuntia, along with DIPR officials Manoj Behera and other district office officers and staff, also took the integrity oath.
During the week, awareness programs are being conducted in all blocks, including village meetings, rallies, competitions among school and college students, and award distribution ceremonies. At the block-level programs, videos are shown and vigilance officers, DSP Jayshree Pradhan, and other officials are present to create awareness against corruption.
It has been emphasized that corruption is a major obstacle to the country’s economic and social progress, and everyone is encouraged to uphold integrity and cleanliness in public service with a spirit of dedication.
Last Tuesday, at Local Oswan Hall, the District Collector, Additional District Collector, and district-level officers were present at the State-Level Corruption Prevention Awareness Week, where they watched the Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi’s live and direct broadcast program.
It has been announced that on 1st November, as part of district-level Corruption Prevention Awareness Week, a padyatra (awareness march) and a meeting at the Local Mission Shakti Conference Hall will be conducted.
