Koraput, Jan 29: A condolence meeting was organized by the Koraput District Primary Teachers’ Association in memory of former General Secretary and esteemed leader of the teaching community, Late Sachchidananda (name as reported).
The meeting was held at the local Primary Teachers’ Bhavan under the अध्यक्षship of District President Damodar Kandhapan. Office-bearers of the Primary Teachers’ Associations from all blocks of Koraput district were present on the occasion.
Among those who attended were State Vice-President of the Utkal Primary Teachers’ Federation Surendra Kuldeep, State Regional Secretary Trinath Harijan, State Executive Member Chittaranjan Rath, former District General Secretary D. Rama Rao, along with other district office-bearers.
The members observed a two-minute silence and offered prayers to God for the eternal peace of the departed soul. The condolence meeting was conducted by District General Secretary Dilip Kumar Takri.
