Bhubaneswar: While the government has announced its goal of providing 1.5 lakh government jobs over a period of 5 years, it has already appointed nearly 28,000 candidates in the first year. As part of this initiative, nine recruitment drives were conducted. To continue toward achieving the five-year target, the state government has now decided to organize another recruitment fair at the beginning of the second year and will distribute appointment letters to 960 candidates.
The Chief Minister, Mohan Charan Majhi, will distribute the appointment letters to:
Junior Enforcement Officers of the state,
10 Tracers,
17 Inspectors, and
1 Junior Accountant.
This recruitment fair marks the beginning of the government’s second year in office, and a roadmap has been laid out to fulfill the target of 1.5 lakh appointments over five years.
According to the information received, on the upcoming 16th, a recruitment fair will be held at the Krushi Bhawan premises. In this event:
907 Junior Engineers (Civil), and
29 other officials
will be provided with appointment letters by CM Majhi.
To ensure smooth conduct of the event, separate responsibilities have been assigned to various departments and agencies including the Commissionerate Police, WATCO, Fire Department, EAST, TP-CODL, BMC, and the Information & Public Relations Department.
