CM Says West Odisha Brings Government and Opposition Together Before Industrial Corridor

Sambalpur, 9th Sept 2025:  “Come quickly, brother, let’s meet at Nuakhai; the world is tied together like a thread, and the village is united…” The Chief Minister said this while speaking at the state-level Nuakhai meeting event organized in Sambalpur, starting with a poem by Padma Shri awardee Haldhar Nag.

“Today, Nuakhai has brought together the government and the opposition, uniting all leadership. This celebration is not limited to a single day but is being extended over several days, creating a unique experience with Nuakhai meeting programs. Nuakhai is the festival of family love and prosperity in our society.

Rice is not only food but also the fruit of the farmer’s hard work. Despite all natural calamities, farmers continue to produce it. Except for some areas in Rourkela, Jharsuguda, and Bargarh in Western Odisha, there is no industry in other places. Therefore, the state government will promote industrialization in every district of the state. They will develop an industrial corridor connecting Paradip, Chowdwar, Dhenkanal, Anugul, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, and Rourkela — from Eastern Odisha to Western Odisha.”
