Byasanagar: The primary objective of the ‘Subhadra’ scheme is to empower mothers and involve them in Odisha’s development. Under this scheme, each mother receives ₹10,000 per year in two installments, totaling ₹50,000 over five years.

During the distribution of the fourth phase of the first installment under this scheme, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi advised mothers not to spend this financial aid on household expenses but to invest it in various businesses. The event was held at Chandama Padia in Byasanagar today.
