Bhubaneswar: As the heatwave continues in the state, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has reviewed the preparedness of various departments to tackle the situation. During a meeting held at Lok Seva Bhavan, the CM emphasized the goal of “zero casualties” and instructed everyone to work accordingly.

To combat the heatwave, a Standard Work Procedure (SWP) has been issued, and the Chief Minister has reviewed its implementation.

Key Decisions:

Anganwadi centers will remain open from 7 AM to 9 AM during the summer.

Power cuts from evening to morning have been prohibited during extreme heat conditions.
