Jharsuguda, Dec, 20: In Jharsuguda, a cluster-level education meeting was held at Talmunda Upper Primary School under the Lairka Block of Jharsuguda district. At the very beginning, students carried placards, chanted slogans, and conducted a village procession. In the middle of the village, seventh and eighth-grade students performed dance presentations to campaign songs, encouraging school attendance.
The meeting was chaired by the school’s head teacher, Sudhir Dansana. The chief guest was the renowned local artist and retired physical education teacher, Suresh Chandra Nayak. The main speaker was the Cluster CRC, C. Manoranjan Kanta. Other honored guests included health worker Shailendra Ray and SMC (School Management Committee) chairperson Y. Manta Kumar.
During the program, Mami Na Na Patel read out the successful story of Ganeshwar Kisan from Tentlamala village. Mahesh Chandra Lehari conducted the stage management, while Birendra Choudhury offered the vote of thanks.
Various corners were set up in the school, such as the children’s park learning corner, numeracy corner, basic literacy corner, science exhibition corner, and state-level open school advisory corner, which were visited by parents and guardians. These initiatives were appreciated for their innovative nature.
