Tentulikhunti, Dec, 11: A football tournament was held at Chitrakot village under Tentulikhunti block’s Anchalguma Gram Panchayat. The event was inaugurated by former MP Shri Dambaru Majhi and respected former Zilla Parishad Chairperson Smt. Manjula Majhi. Other dignitaries present included veteran players Gopal Krishna Nayak and Surya Takri, Anchalguma Sarpanch Kusuma Pujari, former Sarpanch Surya Randhari, Kanu Singh Sadhu, and Gagan Takri, all of whom encouraged the players.
On this inauguration day, a match was played between Kotpad team and the former champion Baner team from distant Kalahandi district. In a highly competitive game, Baner team defeated Kotpad team by scoring three goals, emerging as the winner. A large number of spectators enjoyed watching today’s exciting match.
