CISCE Declares 2024 ICSE & ISC Results: Girls Outperform Boys in Both Classes

Bhubaneswar The results for the Class 10 (ICSE) and Class 12 (ISC) examinations conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) were released on Wednesday. In both examinations, the pass percentage for girls was higher compared to boys. The results for different regions were also announced.

In the Class 10 examination, the overall pass percentage was 99.09%. In Odisha, 8,968 students appeared for the exam, and 97.80% of them passed. Among them, the pass percentage for girls was 98.22%, while for boys it was 97.42%. For the Class 12 examination, the overall pass percentage was 98.89%, with 99.10% of girls and 98.71% of boys passing.

In total, 2,52,557 students appeared for the exams across the country, with 2,50,249 students passing. Among them, 99.37% of girls and 98.84% of boys passed.

Students who could not pass in one or two subjects will be able to appear for the supplementary exams scheduled for July. The board has stated that students who fail to clear these subjects will have another opportunity in the supplementary exams.
